Ganesh Rasik: Beloved Musician and Writer Passes Away at 78

Kathmandu, June 2 -- The renowned lyricist, vocalist, and composer Ganesh Rasik breathed his last on Saturday morning at the Nepal Cancer Hospital in Harisiddhi, Lalitpur, where he was receiving medical care. Rasik had been suffering from prostate cancer and was undergoing regular chemotherapy. His remains will be stored in the morgue at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital until Sunday, as his daughter is traveling from London, stated musician Bulu Mukarung. Rasik, born in 1947 in Chhinamakhu, Bhojpur, was a versatile artist in Nepal’s cultural scene.
